About Women and Youth Future Assist Organization:
Women & Youth Future Assist (WYFAO) is a non-profiting, non–governmental and non–political organization that is mainly involved in humanitarian
and developmental activities and serves the people in need. WYFAO was founded back in 2016 by a group of young Afghan professionals with high
spirit of helping and shaping lives in Afghanistan. WYFAO was established to play a prominent role in addressing the actual needs of poor people and
enable all Afghans speak for their rights and have an enabling environment for their development and prosperity.

 

Job Description:

  1. Conduct program awareness community meetings at the beginning of the project in targeted communities
  2. Organize community public meetings and facilitate the selection of the Committee members in district levels and support them in fulfilling their duties
  3. Manage and uphold the implementation of WYFAO policies including a Code of conduct, Child Protection, PSEA and anti-fraud policies
  4. Conduct regular community meetings in the project-targeted communities
  5. Conduct monitoring activities data collection and reporting
  6. Develop weekly updates and monthly reports on community mobilization activities
  7. Monitor the progress of the trainees and report to the project manager
  8. Identify and report any challenges/problems to the project manager and present solutions.
  9. Monitor the attendance of the trainees and report absenteeism.
  10. Any other duties as directed by the Project Manager
  11. encourage and ensure consultation and participation in meetings and development activities by the poorest households (women who are heads of their households families headed by disabled persons and other vulnerable groups)
  12. Support Sub-Committees to perform their roles and responsibilities and assist them in self-evaluations
  13. Build Capacity of CDCs GA Business Guzar and all sub-committees to perform their roles and responsibilities
  14. Facilitate interest and self-help groups in communities with a focus on poor men and women and marginalized and excluded groups
  15. Facilitate and support Community-Led Total Sanitation
  16. Report misalignments in terms of CBE implementation (corruption/collusion / theft/misbehavior
  17. Assess the training needs of the CDCs and sub-committees in mid-stream and adjust refresher training
  18. Any duties assigned by the line supervisor

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Secondary level education with technical trainings an advantage
  2. Experience in Community Development Projects
  3. Minimum of one year of relevant NGO experience at national level is required
  4. Ability to work independently and under pressure
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  6. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish working relations with target communities and project team

Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) is everyone’s responsibility and all staff are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct, that enshrines principles of
PSEA, at all times (both during work hours and outside work hours). Familiarization with, and adherence to, the Code of Conduct is an essential
requirement of all staff, in addition to related mandatory training. All staff must ensure that they understand and act in accordance with this clause.


Language Requirements:
Fluency in Pashto and Dari; working knowledge of English is highly required.
