2024 Year in Review: WYFAO's Impact and Achievements with UNICEF Central Region

Senior WYFAO management conducted a joint supervision visit to Paktika and Khost, assessing project progress and ensuring quality implementation. CBE and ALC classes open doors for rural children, providing accessible learning opportunities in their communities. WYFAO Director confirms community support and satisfaction with WYFAO’s services from the Head of the School Management Shura- Zirok/ Paktika Monitoring the rehabilitation progress of a primary school in Naka district, Paktika, to ensure a safe and improved learning environment. Celebrating the inauguration of Khing High School in Spera district, Khost, following successful rehabilitation by WYFAO with UNICEF funding. An elder and Islamic scholar from Naka district, Paktika, expresses gratitude for the CBE program and requests from UNICEF about its extension to benefit more children in the community. A community elder of Merano village in Mata Khan District, Paktika, contributes by building three classrooms for CBE and ALC students in a remote village, seeking support from WYFAO and UNICEF to expand the school and develop a well for the children. Akhtar Mohammad, community leader and SMS member of Mollayan Village, Sharana District, expresses gratitude for the services of WYFAO and UNICEF, and requests the expansion of CBE and ALC classes in his village.

Your commitment has made education accessible to children in the most remote and rural areas, where it was once only a dream.
