Training of Trainers (ToT) on Child Protection, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), and Reporting Mechanisms, held in Paktika

The Training of Trainers (ToT) on Child Protection, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), and Reporting Mechanisms, held in Paktika, has successfully concluded!

This essential training, a part of the Education and Development Programme by WYFA, funded by our esteemed partner UNICEF, marks a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance schooling affairs.

From February 25th to 26th, 2024, trainers, social mobilizers, and project staff were equipped with crucial skills to safeguard children and prevent exploitation and abuse. The dedication of our team, alongside the support of UNICEF, underscores our commitment to quality education.

We're thrilled to report that the training received commendations from participants, senior staff of WYFA, the Provincial Education Department, and UNICEF representatives.

Looking ahead, we're extending this training to 156 CBE- Community Based Education classes across nine districts, reaching a total of 470 teachers, SMS- School Management Shura representatives, parents, high school teachers, PED and DED senior staff.

WYFA remains steadfast in our dedication to improving the education system and ensuring quality education for all.
